When compared to paint or stain, Strataflex is never wet, doesn't require extensive taping or masking of adjacent surfaces, has no odor, and is usable immediately after installation. Strataflex wood patterns have the look and "feel" of the real thing without repetitious sanding, and staining to achieve the desired coloring throughout the project. Unlike paint, Strataflex adheres well to laminates and other hard glossy surfaces and requires no sanding prior to application to "rough up" the surface.
